India, May 17 -- A
merican rapper-songwriter Ye's India debut concert, scheduled for May 23 in New Delhi, has been officially cancelled. The 48-year-old artiste, formerly known as Kanye West, had already faced a postponement of the show planned for March 29 due to the US-Iran war.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, organisers White Fox wrote, "We are disheartened to announce that Ye Live in India will not be able to proceed due to directives issued by officials. After months of planning and preparation for what was set to be one of the largest live productions ever staged in India, the safety and well-being of attendees and the citizens of India remain the highest priority.
