Bharatpur, Oct. 26 -- The body of a 22-year-old woman who got married six months ago was found hanging in her room on Saturday in Tonk, police said, adding her parents have filed a case against the in-laws alleging dowry harassment and murder. The incident took place under Purani Tonk police station limits, police said, adding they rushed her to district hospital where she was declared dead. The deceased was identified as a resident of Sawai Madhopur district. She had married a Tonk resident on April 30. City circle officer Rajesh Vidharthy said that a woman,who was married six months ago, was found hanging in her room. The Forensic Science Laboratory Team and Medical Output Unit team were also called to the spot to collect samples. Her family alleged her husband killed her. After getting the post-mortem report and reports from the Forensic Science Laboratory, police will take legal action against the accused, police said.
