Bikaner, June 17 -- A 22-year-old woman allegedly died by suicide after being unable to cope with the sudden death of her father, police said on Tuesday. The incident took place in the Bajju police station area. According to family members, the deceased man had gone on Monday night to inspect the construction work of his house and stayed there overnight. On Tuesday morning, he was found unconscious at the site. He was immediately taken to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Preliminary medical examination suggested that he suffered a heart attack. His body was brought home around 11 am. Soon after, his 22-year-old daughter, devastated by the loss, allegedly jumped into a farm pond located near the house, police said. She was taken to a hospital in critical condition, but doctors declared her dead on arrival, a police officer said....
