Udaipur, May 10 -- A woman allegedly died by suicide after attacking her husband with an axe in Udaipur district on Friday, said police on Saturday. Gogunda police station house officer Shyam Singh Charan said neighbours of the couple found the woman dead and her husband lying in a pool of blood. They rushed him to the district hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment in critical condition, he added. He added that preliminary enquiries suggested the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute that turned violent after the woman allegedly attacked her husband with an axe, inflicting multiple injuries. Investigators also found that the woman purportedly sent a voice message to the husband's elder brother before her death.
