Jaipur, Aug. 29 -- Most parts of Rajasthan are likely to experience weak monsoon conditions over the next week, with the weather expected to remain largely dry, the meteorological department said on Friday. During the past 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall was recorded at isolated places in eastern Rajasthan. In western Rajasthan, maximum temperatures of 39-41degC were recorded in several border areas. Sri Ganganagar recorded the state's highest maximum temperature at 41.4 degree Celsius. According to the met, weak monsoon conditions are likely to prevail across most parts of the Bikaner, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Udaipur, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Kota divisions during next seven days. Weather is expected to remain mainly dry in these regions, with only isolated places in eastern Rajasthan likely to get light rain. The department, however, expects rainfall activity to increase again in parts of eastern and northern Rajasthan from September 3-4.
