trafficking bust in Jhalawar: 4 more rescued
Bharatpur/Jhalawar, June 9 -- Four more minors have been rescued from a human trafficking gang in Jhalawar, taking the total number of rescued minors to 14, police said on Monday.
Police said they will seek demolition of the property of racket's chief Ramkanya Bai,native of village Dablana in Bundi district. Jhalawar Superintendent of Police, Amit Kumar said that a team has been sent to Mumbai to arrest three brokers from jail on production warrant,who were also members of the racket.
Police on Friday had busted the interstate human trafficking network, arresting five members, detaining another suspect, and rescuing 10 minor girls.
Investigations revealed that written agreements were executed with the families. The agreements reportedly stated that loans would be waived under certain conditions and family would have to repay double the amount if a girl escaped....
