Three killed, two injured as car rams into truck
Jaipur, Oct. 9 -- Three people died and two were injured late Tuesday night when a taxi rammed into a truck on State Highway-94 near village 5 GB Pulia in Jaitsar, Sri Ganganagar, said police, adding that the collision mangled the car, trapping the victims inside the vehicle.

Rescue teams had to cut open the vehicle to retrieve the bodies. The injured were rushed to the district hospital in Sri Ganganagar by ambulance, said police.
According to police, the truck was heading from Anupgarh to Suratgarh. All five men in the car were devotees on their way to visit Channa Dham Balaji in Sri Ganganagar.
The deceased have been identified as Surendra (20); Naresh Kumar (20); and Kaluram (18) - all residents of 2PGMB, Anupgarh. Sukhdev (19), and Jagdish Kumar (28), were seriously injured. Jagdish was driving the car at the time of the accident....
