India, Sept. 6 -- National Award-winning filmmaker Sudhir Mishra has begun shooting his next film, titled Gandhi and My Mother, with an outdoor schedule in Lucknow on Friday. Backed by filmmaker Anubhav Sinha, the film stars Manoj Bajpayee as Mahatma Gandhi. Mishra wrote the script as a tribute to his late mother, Durga Devendra Nath Mishra, whom he had promised to make the film for. The story explores a slice from Gandhi's life through a film-within-a-film narrative. It also stars Waheeda Rehman, Divya Dutta and Saurabh Shukla....
