Subsidised LPG supply to stay, Govt to bear extra cost: MiN
BIKANER, March 11 -- Amid concerns over LPG supply, Rajasthan food and civil supplies minister Sumit Godara said the government remains committed to ensuring that all eligible beneficiaries continue to receive subsidised domestic LPG cylinders.
Speaking to HT, the minister said the state government will bear the increased cost to ensure that beneficiaries do not face additional financial burden. The government is committed to providing subsidised LPG cylinders to all eligible beneficiaries, and the increased cost will be borne by the government- Godara said.
He said, as part of the current arrangements, commercial LPG cylinders will be supplied only to essential institutions, including hospitals and educational institutes....
