Jaipur, May 28 -- Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (RVPN)has reported a profit of Rs.644 crore during the financial year 2025-26, officials with the state power transmission utility said on Wednesday. Chairperson Aarti Dogra said the annual accounts of RVPN for the financial year 2025-26 were approved during the corporation's 339th Board Meeting. According to the approved annual accounts, the corporation recorded a total income of around Rs.4,639 crore during the financial year, while total expenditure stood at approximately Rs.3,995 crore, said Dogra. Based on these figures, the utility posted a net profit of nearly Rs.644 crore. Dogra said the profit reflects prudent financial management and operational efficiency in the transmission utility's undertakings. The chairperson added that RVPN incurred a total capital expenditure of Rs.4,048 crore during FY 2025-26, which were figures that indicated sustained investment in strengthening Rajasthan's power transmission infrastructure and network expansion....
