Jaipur, June 18 -- Rajasthan's largest government healthcare facility, Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital, is set to introduce an Artificial Intelligence-based robotic physiotherapy system. The system has been installed at the Rehabilitation Centre and is expected to become operational soon after the installation process' completion. Authorities say the technology will help address growing demand for intensive physiotherapy while improving treatment outcomes for patients requiring long-term rehabilitation. SMS Hospital superintendent and director of the Rehabilitation Centre, Dr Mrinal Joshi, said: "Patients with severe spinal injuries often become partially or completely paralysed. Such cases require prolonged, intensive and regular physiotherapy to regain mobility and improve physical functioning.
