Jaipur, March 24 -- The Supreme Court of India on Monday rejected the bail plea of an accused involved in a Rs 2 crore "digital arrest" fraud that duped an 84-year-old couple from Rajasthan. Additional advocate general Shiv Mangal Sharma said a bench comprising Justices Sanjay Kumar and K Vinod Chandran dismissed the bail application of Rahul Jagdish, a resident of Rajkot, citing the serious and organised nature of the offence. The case stems from an FIR registered at the Cyber Police Station, Commissionerate Jodhpur on May 14, 2025.
