Jaipur, Aug. 11 -- Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has identified at least 12 candidates in various government job examinations providing a fake divorce certificate to avail the benefits of the divorced quota, said officials on Sunday. The chairman of the RSSB, Alok Raj, said, "There is a 2% quota for the divorced women in all the jobs under the Rajasthan government. The cut-off marks under this quota is very low and therefore many women provided forged degrees to avail that benefit." "The department has received several complaints in this regard in the last few months and then launched a probe which so far traced 12 such candidates. We have sent a report to the Special Operation Group with all the details.n They will now investigate the matter," he added. "RSSB is also planning action against those who usurp the rights of the real beneficiaries of the victimized divorce category. More such candidates who want to get a government job by getting a divorce only on paper are also on our radar," the chairman said. The matter came to the fore after a 37-year-old constable lodged a complaint against his wife in Jaipur that she provided a forged divorced certificate to appear for the constable examination when the case is yet pending with the court....
