report: over 6k proposals got nod through raj nivesh in april
Jaipur, May 31 -- Rajasthan approved over 6,100 investment-related applications through the Raj Nivesh Portal in April , logging a state-wide approval rate of 67.7% under its Deregulation Phase-I initiative, a report by the Deregulation Cell under the state chief secretary's office said.
Jaipur led the state with the highest number of applications and approvals, while investor interest continued to grow across sectors such as tourism, renewable energy, defence, education and agro-processing.
Of the 9,010 applications received statewide in April, Jaipur alone accounted for 1,932 applications, of which 1,351 were approved.
Chief secretary V Srinivas said the state government was making sustained efforts to simplify procedures, ensure time-bound disposal of applications, and strengthen the business environment.
He added that the Raj Nivesh Portal was facilitating approvals and clearances across smaller districts.
Other major urban and industrial districts, including Jodhpur, Sikar, Ajmer, Bikaner, Kota, Hanumangarh, Alwar, Churu and Bhilwara, also recorded substantial participation on the Raj Nivesh Portal, showed the report....
