Raj to use AI for cyber crime helpline 1930
Jaipur, May 29 -- Rajasthan will use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to make Cyber Crime Helpline 1930 more effective and citizen-friendly while the number of telephone lines and call operators will be increased by June 15 to ensure immediate assistance to cyber fraud victims, officials said on Thursday.
The announcement was made during a high-level review meeting chaired by Chief Secretary V. Srinivas at the Police Headquarters regarding cyber crime control mechanisms and the functioning of the Cyber Helpline 1930.
Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma and Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Bhaskar A. Sawant were also present during the meeting.
The Chief Secretary conducted a detailed review of the structure and functioning of the cyber crime cell, the call response system of Helpline 1930 and the investigation process related to cyber offences.
V. Srinivas also directed the officials to further strengthen the helpline and prepare a detailed policy implementation structure plan within the next 30 days....
