Raj launches chatbot to address scheme delays
Jaipur, April 29 -- The Rajasthan government launched the Samadhan Sathi WhatsApp chatbot on Tuesday to swiftly resolve public grievances over scheme access, from pensions to scholarships, especially in rural areas where delays have long hindered delivery.
Rajasthan government on Tuesday rolled out the Samadhan Sathi chatbot aiming to resolve issues people face while availing any scheme.
In an official statement, the chief minister's office said, "Under the leadership of Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government has taken digital governance to new heights with the launch of a revolutionary initiative, the "Samadhaan Sathi" WhatsApp chatbot. This initiative is not only making government services accessible to the public and students, but also making them faster, more transparent, and more effective than ever before."
According to officials, the chatbot started on April 14 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Babasaheb Ambedkar but was officially launched on Tuesday, making it available to the public.
"Now there is no need to visit government offices to know any information, problem or application status related to pension or scholarship. The public can get accurate information about the scheme and application by sending a message to 7690080055. This initiative is a concrete step towards strengthening the spirit of social justice and equal opportunity, bringing the ideas of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar to life in the digital age," the statement added.
The chief minister's office said the initiative will prove extremely effective in the state's rural regions, where time-bound scheme delivery and issue resolution have posed challenges.
"Samadhaan Saathi" is a decisive initiative towards digital empowerment. Now, students will no longer have to search for even the smallest details related to scholarships; instead, they will be able to access them instantly, seamlessly, from the comfort of their homes. We will add more schemes to this chatbot in future," it said.
Explaining the process, social justice minister Avinash Gehlot said, "Samadhaan Saathi" is not just a chatbot, but a comprehensive digital support system. It provides students with accurate and quick answers to questions about scholarship eligibility, required documents, application deadlines, application status, and common questions. This chatbot also provides step-by-step guidance to simplify the application process, helping users complete their application correctly without any confusion. It also effectively helps identify and correct common errors, reducing the likelihood of application rejection."...
