Jaipur, June 14 -- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will launch a nationwide campaign from Rajasthan's Kota on June 17, seeking to intensify the party's attack on the Centre over issues such as examination paper leaks, recruitment irregularities and unemployment among youth. According to Congress sources, Kota has been strategically chosen as the starting point of the campaign because of its status as the country's premier coaching hub, often referred to as the "City of Education". Every year, thousands of students from across India travel to Kota to prepare for competitive examinations such as NEET and JEE. Political observers and education experts believe the city provides an ideal platform for Rahul Gandhi to interact with students from various states who have been affected by recent examination controversies, including the NEET paper leak case. Sources said Rahul Gandhi is expected to hold discussions with students and their families who were impacted by the recent NEET paper leak during the campaign. The Congress leader has previously engaged with Kota's student community, including during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in December 2022, when he took time to interact with coaching students in the city. Announcing the nationwide campaign, Congress general secretary K.C. Venugopal said Rahul Gandhi had emerged as a credible voice for students and youth across the country. He further said, "the campaign would highlight the challenges faced by millions of young Indians whose futures are being adversely affected by paper leaks, rising examination costs and the absence of a fair and transparent recruitment system."...
