NEET aspirant arrested for using phone during retest
Jaipur, June 23 -- A 22-year-old woman appearing for the Re-NEET (UG) 2026 examination was arrested in Jaipur after she was allegedly caught attempting to use an smart phone to cheat during the exam, police said. Police also seized the mobile phone used in the incident. Jaipur west deputy commissioner of Police Prashant Kiran, said the Re-NEET (UG) 2026 examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) was held on June 21 at a government senior secondary school examination centre in Bindayaka. The candidate was appearing for the examination at the centre.
Police said the candidate allegedly concealed the her phone inside her clothes and carried it into the examination hall. An invigilator reportedly noticed her attempting to use the phone to solve questions. She was subsequently handed over to the authorities.
