Jaipur, Sept. 28 -- One of the two policemen accused of molesting a woman in Jaipur has been suspended, while a senior officer has written to Police headquarters seeking the suspension of the other, police said on Sunday. According to additional deputy commissioner of police (ADCP) Parsmal Jain, a molestation case was registered against the two policemen at Pratap Nagar police station late Saturday. One was posted at the police station, while the other was posted in the police lines. Both were arrested following the woman's complaint. According to the complaint, the two policemen were drinking liquor in their flat and making noise. When a female neighbour objected, they allegedly abused and molested her. Residents of the society gathered and confronted the policemen after learning of the incident. When the two allegedly began abusing the residents, they were beaten. Police reached the spot, rescued the policemen and took them to the police station in a PCR vehicle. "The DCP has suspended the policeman posted at Pratap Nagar police station. The DCP has written to police headquarters seeking the suspension of the other policeman, who is posted in the police lines," Jain told HT....
