Mining mafia attacks forest team in Dausa
Bharatpur/Dausa, Sept. 25 -- Mining mafia allegedly attacked a forest department team when they were illegally transporting river sand by tractor trolleys in Dausa, officials said on Wednesday.
The incident occurred under Mahwa police station on Jaipur-Agra national highway when forest team received information about illegal mining.
Range officer of Mahwa area, Narendra Kumar along with his team followed the mining mafia.
River sand by five tractor trollies was being transported from Balahedi to Mahawa, he said, adding they started pelting stones at the team when forest officials tried to stop them.
Ranger, Narendra Kumar said that five trollies full of river sand were seized.
He said the department has registered a complaint against the absconding suspects.htc...
