Barmer/Sirohi, June 30 -- A long-standing dispute over the discharge of wastewater turned fatal in Rajasthan's Sirohi district on Sunday when a young man was allegedly beaten to death by members of a neighbouring family in Aamlari village under the Kalandri police station area. The victim's family refused to accept the body and staged a protest outside Kalandri police station, demanding rupees one crore as compensation, a government job for one family member, and the immediate arrest and strict action against the accused. According to a complaint lodged by Prakashraj Purohit, the victim Abhay Kumar Purohit had been involved in an ongoing dispute with neighbours Ghevaram and Krishnakumar Darji, who have been booked over the drainage of dirty water between their adjoining houses....
