Jaipur, Oct. 31 -- A 23-year-old man was arrested on Thursday by a team from the state Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) in connection with an elaborate cross-border drug smuggling operation, a senior ATS officer said. According to Vikas Kumar, ATS inspector-general (IG), " "The accused is from Barmer. His father was convicted and jailed in 2022 for smuggling several drug consignments from Pakistan to India. He was handling his father's business only and we suspect he will be key to bust a larger network. We can't reveal his name at the moment considering the probe's gravity."
