BIKANER, Aug. 19 -- The family of a man who had died at PBM Hospital in Bikaner alleged that a government doctor at the hospital had performed a surgical procedure on the patient at his private residence for Rs.2,000, after which the person's health deteriorated and he died, police said. Joint director of the medical and health department Devendra Choudhary told HT that a factual report had been sought from the in-charge of the sub-divisional hospital and that further action will be taken accordingly.
