Bharatpur, April 25 -- Hundreds of locals staged an indefinite sit-in at the Nadbai tehsil office on Friday, led by a woman whose jeweller husband was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Bharatpur. According to officials, the protesters are demanding the immediate arrest of the accused, along with a government job for a member of the victim's family, and adequate compensation. Yogendra Chopra (47), a jeweller, was shot dead and jewellery worth Rs.60 lakh was looted from him on the evening of March 25.
