JDA planning food, recreation zone in Ram Niwas Bagh worth Rs.6.3 cr
Jaipur, Oct. 3 -- The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) plans to develop a dedicated food and recreation zone at Ram Niwas Bagh, with an estimated project cost of around Rs.6.30 crore, officials said.
According to the project plan, the proposed food chowpatty will come up on nearly 5,920 square metres near the existing sports court inside the historic city park.
The facility will feature food trucks and kiosks, a dedicated seating area, a children's play zone, landscaped green spaces and an open-air theatre, officials said, citing the plan.
The plan further envisages separate entry arrangements for vehicles and pedestrians to improve movement within the facility. Around 140 square metres has been earmarked for food trucks and kiosks, while nearly 662 square metres will be developed as a seating area for visitors.
A 600-square-metre play area will cater to children, while the proposed open-air theatre, spread over around 200 square metres, will provide a venue for cultural and recreational activities.
The project will also include landscaped gardens, pedestrian pathways, toilets, drinking water facilities, parking and other visitor amenities....
