Jaipur, March 24 -- The Twenty-Point Programme rankings released by the state government have shown significant improvement for Jaipur district, with notable achievements across key sectors-most prominently, securing first position in the state in institutional deliveries. The progress has been attributed to the effective leadership of District Collector Dr Jitendra Kumar Soni, whose focus on continuous monitoring, target-based execution, and inter-departmental coordination has led to a marked rise in the district's overall ranking. Chief Planning Officer Dr. Sudip Kumawat said that departments adopted a goal-oriented approach under the collector's guidance, yielding strong results. Under the Women and Child Development Department, the district achieved 100% performance across all indicators, reflecting administrative efficiency. A key highlight remains Jaipur's top rank in institutional deliveries, underscoring improved maternal and child healthcare services and effective implementation at the ground level. The district also secured the first position in providing post-matric scholarships to Scheduled Caste students, indicating progress in social welfare and education. In the energy sector, Jaipur recorded 200% achievement in pump set energisation against state targets, a move seen as strengthening support for farmers. Meanwhile, the Forest Department's plantation drive earned the district an 'A' grade, reflecting its commitment to environmental conservation.
