Barmer/Pali, Oct. 5 -- Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Sunday urged entrepreneurs from Rajasthan to come forward and set up industries in the state, assuring them of full government support. Addressing the state-level conference of Laghu Udyog Bharati at Agrasen Vatika in Pali, Sharma said entrepreneurs should prepare detailed proposals and approach the government with their requirements. More than 1,200 entrepreneurs from across Rajasthan attended the conference.
"When entrepreneurs from outside Rajasthan are coming here and setting up industries, why can't people from Rajasthan do the same?" Sharma said, urging local entrepreneurs to explore investment opportunities in the state.
He assured entrepreneurs that the state government was ready to support them at every stage. "Bring your plans to us and tell us what you need. Prepare the complete draft and come to us. The government is fully prepared to support you at every step. You make the plan and bring it to us," the CM said.
Sharma said the "double-engine government" was standing with entrepreneurs and working to create a conducive environment for investment and industrial growth. Highlighting Pali's industrial and tourism potential, Sharma said the city's textile industry, papad, gulab halwa and mehendi have created a distinct identity. He also referred to Ranakpur, which attracts a large number of tourists.
Sharma also spoke about the Jawai Dam and said that water would reach the dam. He said work worth around Rs.4,500 crore was underway in this regard.
Addressing challenges faced by businesses, the CM said problems were an inevitable part of life as well as industry and could never be completely eliminated.
