AJMER, July 28 -- Police in Ajmer on Monday demolished the homes of two women who allegedly trafficked a 16-year-old girl and lured her into a hotel where she was raped, officers said. The accused were identified as Afsana and Afreen. The case concerned the alleged abduction and rape of a 16-year-old girl in June. She was later allegedly sold a 42-year-old man in Churu for Rs.32,000, who is accused of keeping her captive for nearly seven months. Police said teams from Dargah police station area examined the records of the properties belonging to the accused and found they were allegedly built illegally. Proceedings were initiated under Section 107 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) and the demolition was subsequently authorised.
