first veterinary hospital built in ranthambore
Bharatpur/Sawai Madhopur, March 19 -- The first tiger reserve veterinary hospital of the state has been built in Ranthambore tiger reserve to provide treatment for wildlife in Sawai Madhopur.
Manas Singh,deputy conservator of forest in Ranthambore tiger reserve said that the state government in the last budget allocated Rs.4 crore to build a tiger reserve veterinary hospital.
The first phase of construction spans an area of 1000 square yards area, said Singh, adding that the world-class facilities at the hostel were a major improvement.
"Earlier,there was only a single veterinary doctor to treat the animals," he said.
The hospital is located at the Rajbagh forest school in zone number 6 of Ranthambore tiger reserve.
It has been built under Ranthambore forest administration and National Tiger Conservation Authority and veterinary council of India.htc...
