Alwar, June 5 -- A major fire broke out at a sheet metal manufacturing unit in the UIT Industrial Area of Bhiwadi in Khairthal-Tijara district on Thursday, injuring at least half a dozen workers, police said. According to additional superintendent of police Shreeman Meena, police and fire brigade teams rushed to the spot after receiving information about the blaze. Efforts to bring the fire under control were underway, while the cause of the incident is being investigated. Officials said four to six workers sustained burn injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Company employee Ravi Rogha said the blaze originated from an oil tanker placed on the roof of a neighbouring factory. The flames quickly intensified and spread to the adjacent unit, engulfing large sections of the factory premises. At the time of the incident, several male and female workers were present inside the factory. Timely evacuation ensured that all employees were rescued safely....
