Barmer/Jaisalmer, July 28 -- A family of four drowned in a water tank at their home in Jaisalmer district late on Sunday, police said, adding that they suspected a case of murder-suicide. Speaking to reporters on Monday, Ramdevra SHO Devkishan said the incident occurred at around 9pm at Loharki village and those deceased consisted of a man, his wife and two children. "Prima facie, it appears to be murder-suicide, but all angles, including foul play, are being investigated," he said. He added that the man's brother reportedly saw him jump into the tank and alerted others, who recovered the bodies and rushed them to a nearby hospital where they were declared dead.
