Jaipur, July 27 -- Former chief minister Vasundhara Raje on Saturday handed over the Rs.10 Lakh compensation amount and the job letter to the members of each family of the seven minor children who have been killed on Friday morning after their school building had collapsed in Jhalawar's Aklera. Following the incident, an intense protest was sparked in the district on Friday evening who demanded for a Rs.1 Crore compensation to each of the family members. However, the education minister Madan Dilawar on Friday night announced, "A Rs.10 Lakh compensation will be provided to each of the victim's family. One member from all those families will also get a government job based on a contract. We will also name every classroom in the school after the victims." As per Dilawar's announcement, ex-CM Raje, who is also a former MLA from Jhalawar's Jhalrapatan, along with his son Jhalawar-Baran MP Dushyant Singh reached to meet the family members in Aklera village. "This was a disheartening incident. We all are standing together with the family in such a difficult time. The government made some announcements yesterday. We have handed over the compensation amount to them..." Raje said in a statement....
