Bharatpur/Nagaur, March 18 -- Family members on Tuesday refused to accept the body of an elderly woman who was found dead with her throat slit in Nagaur and her jewellery worth around Rs.7 lakh was missing, police said. The incident came to light on Monday when the 70-year-old woman, a resident of Kakand village under Padu Kalan police station, left for her daughter's house but did not reach her destination. Her body was later recovered from a plastic bag. Nagaur SP Roshan Meena said "The woman had gone to her daughter's house but was found murdered. Multiple teams are working to trace those involved," he said. A team from the forensic science laboratory visited the spot and collected evidence. Police said they are probing all possible angles, including robbery. Two suspects have been detained for questioning, officials said. Meanwhile, family members staged a protest....
