Barmer/Jaisalmer, Sept. 26 -- A 34-year-old woman died during treatment in Jodhpur, three days after she was allegedly set on fire by her in-laws following years of dowry-related harassment and alleged occult practices in Jaisalmer's Korwa village, police said on Friday. According to police, Hina suffered over 90% burns after petrol was allegedly poured over her and set ablaze around 1am on September 21. She was initially taken to Jawahar Hospital in Jaisalmer and later referred to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Jodhpur because of her critical condition. She died on the morning of September 24, police said. According to her father's complaint, Hina faced physical and mental harassment by her in-laws since her marriage to Bhagwanaram of Korwa in 2012. He alleged that she was also harassed over demands for a car. Khuhdi police station officer Bhagu Ram said a case was registered on the basis of Purkharam Bhil's complaint. All four accused have been arrested and are being questioned. Police said the case involves allegations of dowry-related harassment, dowry death and conspiracy. Hina's husband, father-in-law Sonaram, mother-in-law Lasmo Devi and sister-in-law Amrita Devi allegedly poured petrol on her and set her on fire on September 21, police said....
