Development work in full swing at Vagad: CM
Jaipur, Sept. 21 -- Robust development is happening in Rajasthan's Vagad region under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led double engine government, chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma said on Saturday after a visit to Banswara's atomic power plant, whose foundation stone will be laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 25.
"PM Modi has given Rajasthan significant development gifts. Local residents are getting employment opportunities through poverty alleviation and development schemes in the entire tribal region, including Banswara and Dungarpur. The double engine government is determined to carry on the basic development of Vagad," said the CM.
"Our government is organizing urban service camps and rural service camps across the state since September 17, PM Modi's birthday. Through these camps, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya's pledge of Antyodaya is being realized, and public welfare work is being prioritized. The person standing in the last row is getting the benefit of public welfare schemes," he added.
"From birth and death certificates to caste certificates and income certificates, everything is being processed instantly at the Urban Service Camps. From enrolling in pension schemes to obtaining ration cards is being done at the camps. Extensive campaigns are being launched to improve urban sanitation. These camps also include repairing roads, drains, and sewer lines," Sharma said.
In the rural service camp, work like giving ownership lease under the Swamitva Yojana and getting the Girdawari done through the Kisan Girdawari App are being done. Priority is being given to maternal and child health and the TB-free India campaign. Facilities for animal testing, treatment, and vaccination are also being made available.
"Under the CM's Ayushman Arogya Yojana, every family is receiving free treatment up to Rs.25 lakh. Farmers and livestock owners are being empowered through the Kisan Samman Nidhi and Gopal Credit Card schemes, " Sharma said....
