Cops bust family-run theft gang in Nagaur
Ajmer, May 14 -- Gotan police in Nagaur district arrested five members of a family-run theft ring spanning three generations-including a grandfather, his sons, and grandson-while seizing stolen silver ornaments worth nearly Rs.2 lakh and other loot from temples and tube wells, officers said.
Under the direction of superintendent of police Roshan Meena, Gotan police station SHO Suresh Choudhary said the gang was busted on the basis of field intelligence and technical evidence. Officers took into custody the 66-year-old gang leader Jagdish, his sons Mahendra (41) and Ajay Pal (35), grandson Pawan (21), and 45-year-old jeweller Sumerlal for buying the stolen silver.htc...
