Jaipur, Sept. 2 -- Three workers were injured, one of them critically, after a collision involving a Thar and a Ford Endeavour sent their e-rickshaw hurtling nearly 50 feet in Jaipur's Mansarovar area early Monday, police said. The accident occurred around 1.30am when the workers were returning after supplying ice cream at a party. The injured were identified as Shankar Singh, 48, Mukesh Jawali, 42, and Umashankar, 41. They were taken to hospital for treatment. Mansarovar station house officer Satish Chand said the Thar and the Endeavour collided and subsequently struck the e-rickshaw. "One of the injured is in critical condition. A case has been registered, and both SUVs have been seized," Chand said. According to vehicle registration records, the Thar is owned by Shiv Kumar and the Endeavour by Lalita Chandana, the SHO said. Police are investigating who was driving the vehicles at the time of the accident. The drivers allegedly fled after the crash, and efforts are underway to trace them. Investigators are also examining CCTV footage to ascertain the sequence of events, the speed of the two SUVs and the exact cause of the accident....
