Jaipur, Oct. 28 -- Rajasthan's Minister of State for Cooperation (independent charge) Gautam Kumar Dak has taken a tough stand against fake crop records and fraudulent registrations under the Minimum Support Price (MSP) procurement scheme for Kharif 2025. He directed district collectors to initiate strict action against individuals who have filed false crop sowing records inconsistent with actual cultivation. Presiding over a review meeting at the Secretariat on Monday, Dak assessed the preparations of Rajfed for procurement of moong, groundnut, urad, and soybean from farmers at MSP. He directed officials to immediately cancel registrations found to be based on fake crop entries so that genuine farmers can receive the benefits of the government's scheme. The minister said that e-Mitra operators involved in making such fake registrations would face punitive action from the administration. He directed the Bikaner District Collector over a phone call to conduct an immediate investigation and take necessary measures. Emphasizing the need for transparency and efficiency in the procurement process, Dak said that surveyors from NAFED and NCCF be deployed at procurement centers to ensure quality checks of the crops.
