India, May 31 -- Joining a long list of celebrities, actor Naga Chaitanya has moved the Delhi High Court seeking protection of his personality rights against alleged unauthorised merchandise and AI-generated content showing him in objectionable situations. The actor also flagged online claims that he cheated on former wife, actor Samantha, and 'destroyed' her career. His counsel argued before the court, "This is trolling, this is not fair criticism." The plea was also pointed out that the court had previously secured his father, actor Nagarjuna's personality rights. On Friday, the court issued a summons in the matter and indicated protection for the actor pending further proceedings. The next hearing is set for September 30.
