Jaipur, Sept. 8 -- Senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot on Sunday said that the BJP was mired in bureaucracy, whereas the Congress chose to engage in the politics of service and struggle. Pilot made the remarks while addressing an event in Chittorgarh to mark the occasion of his birthday. "Struggle and service are symbols of Congress party. We will keep at it. It's been two years, BJP has formed its government but the situation has not been changed at all. They are stuck in bureaucracy," he said. After completing prayers in the district's Sangwaliya Seth temple, Pilot spoke about the recent floods in the state and issued a prayer for those affected. He also made a call to cut out the burgeoning drug menace at its root. "It hurts me when I see how our young generation, even the minors, are getting addicted to drugs. Irrespective of any political party, religion, and caste, we all need to put effort to curb this addiction among our youth. The government must crackdown on drugs and spend necessary resources," he said. "We must ensure that our Rajasthan doesn't become like Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, or Haryana. Government has to stop the ones who are supplying it," he added Reacting to Pilot's remarks on the government, BJP spokesperson Laxmikant Bharadwaj said, "BJP government has ensured major developments in every sector. Congress has only deprived people facilities due to their politics and corruption. They stalled the ERCP project and they ruined our youth's dreams with paper leaks. They must stop misleading people."...
