Alwar, Sept. 27 -- Two minor siblings, aged four and seven, died after coming in contact with an electric current while carrying water to their family's agricultural field in Karanpura village of Reni area in Alwar district on Saturday morning. The deceased were identified as four-year-old Gaurav and his seven-year-old sister Harshita. According to their grandfather Girraj Prasad Meena's complaint, the children were asked to take water to the field, where other family members were working. While walking to the field, the siblings came in contact with the earthing of a single-phase electricity line and suffered an electric shock. Family members rushed them to Reni hospital, where doctors declared them dead. A case has been registered and investigation is underway, police said. htc...
