Jaipur, Sept. 23 -- The five-day National Security Module for 31 trainee officers of the Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Batch 2025 was inaugurated on Monday at the Central Detective Training Institute (CDTI), Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), Jaipur, officials aware of the matter said. CDTI director Dr Amandeep Singh Kapoor welcomed the participants and outlined the key themes of the programme, which include national security dynamics, inter-agency coordination, and emerging internal security challenges. The inaugural session was graced by Anuj Mathur, VSM, retired Major General of Indian Army, who served as the chief guest. Addressing the trainee officers, he shared his insights on national security issues and encouraged them to adopt a comprehensive perspective on the various internal and external security challenges confronting the nation at the present juncture.
