Bharatpur/Sawai Madhopur, April 29 -- A four-and-a-half-year-old tiger, T-2402, was found dead in Ranthambore Tiger Reserve following a territorial fight, officials said, highlighting tensions from the park's growing tiger population. Manas Singh, deputy conservator of forests, said the T-2402 tiger died over a territorial fight between two tigers in the Hindwad forest area, where a patrolling forest team found the carcass on Tuesday. The body of the tiger will be buried after post-mortem, Singh said, adding that there have been a rising trend of tigers having territorial fights.
