Bharatpur/Dausa, Aug. 29 -- Three people were killed and 25 people sustained injuries in three separate road accidents on Friday in Dausa district, police said. The first accident took place on Delhi-Mumbai expressway under Kolwa police station on Friday early morning when a sleeper bus, carrying passengers from Ahmedabad to Delhi collided with a running truck from the back side, police said. On being informed, police reached the spot and pulled out all passengers from the bus. The injured were rushed to the district hospital where bus driver Surendra Rajput, 45, resident of Ahmedabad was declared dead by the doctors. Manohar Lal, Kolwa police station in-charge said, "A sleeper bus was carrying passengers from Ahmedabad to Delhi but as the driver fell asleep, the bus rammed into the truck from the back side." All injured are undergoing treatment in hospital, police said, adding, family members of the injured and deceased were informed about the accident. The body of the bus driver will be handed over to the family members after post-mortem examination, police said. An injured passenger, Rajnish Singh,from Uttarakhand said, "I was travelling by sleeper bus from Vadodara to Delhi to reach home on the occasion of Rakshabandhan festival. Maximum passengers were sleeping". The second accident took place on Delhi-Mumbai expressway under Nangal police station where a man and his nephew were mowed down by a truck when they were standing on the roadside, police said On being informed, police reached the spot and took them to the district hospital where doctors declared them dead. The deceased were identified as Sayal Meena, 16, resident of Chudiyawas and Mahendra Meena, 22, resident of Banskho in Dausa. Nangal police station in-charge Hussain Ali said that police are trying to identify the absconded truck and driver through CCTV footage. The dead bodies have been handed over to family members after post-mortem examination, police said. In the third accident, four people were injured after their car was hit by an unidentified vehicle on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway under the Sadar police station area. They have been admitted to district hospital for treatment, police said....
