Ajmer, May 27 -- A 28-year-old man killed his 24-year-old fiancee in Ajmer's Khoda Ganesh hills before trying to die by suicide, police said. According to the police, on Monday, the accused, Prakash Singh Rawat allegedly took the woman to isolated hills near Bubani Khoda Ganesh village, where an argument broke out. In a fit of rage, he allegedly strangled her to death Rural deputy superintendent of police Ramchandra said the accused is currently admitted to hospital and remains under police surveillance. "He will be arrested and questioned once discharged," he added. Police are awaiting the medical report to confirm whether Rawat had actually consumed poison. Ajmer superintendent of police Harshvardhan Agarwala said the case is being investigated seriously from all possible angles.
