2 men open fire at bharatpur trader, probe launched: police
Bharatpur, Oct. 3 -- A police team has been formed to track down goons who opened fire on a trader while he was returning home after closing his shop in Bharatpur, police said on Thursday.
The incident occurred around 10 pm on Wednesday under Mathura Gate police station.
Ajay Meghnani, 50, a resident of Jawahar Nagar colony, was returning home after closing his shop near the Central Bus Stand under Atalband police station when two unidentified men on a motorcycle followed him and opened fire.
A bullet hit his leg, and his family rushed him to the district hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. On being informed, police reached the spot and recovered a bullet shell.
