Jaipur, Sept. 21 -- Two prisoners, accused in theft cases, escaped from the Jaipur Central Jail early on Saturday by jumping off a 27-feet high boundary wall with the help of a pipeline installed inside the jail, police said. Gandhinagar ACP, Narayan Bajiya, said, "The incident took place at around 3am. "Nawal Mahawar and Anas Kumar arrived in the central jail on September 15 and 17 respectively. Anas was however detained in the afternoon while a search for Nawal is underway," he said. According to police, the matter came to light when police officers found their cell empty while taking attendance in the morning. "Later, it was found through CCTV footage that they used a pipeline at the rear of the jail and crossed the boundary. The guards were not present there," said Bajiya.
