Jaipur, July 19 -- Surgeons at Jaipur's SMS Medical College and Hospital have successfully performed a rare and complex operation to remove 15 benign lumps from the breasts of an 18-year-old woman from Tonk district, in what doctors described as an extremely uncommon case. The patient had seven lumps in one breast and eight in the other. According to specialists, it is unusual to have more than one or two breast lumps, making this a rare clinical condition. The patient has recovered well and is currently in stable condition. Dr Richa Jain said many women still mistakenly believe that every breast lump is cancerous, whereas majority of them are benign and can be treated if diagnosed early.
