'king is sleeping in Ram Rajya', Bhati slams govt
Barmer, June 1 -- Independent MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati on Sunday alleged that the state government was ignoring the concerns of protesting workers and attempting to suppress dissent through administrative action.
"The government talks about Ram Rajya and Antyodaya. In such a system, if even one person is in distress, the ruler cannot sleep peacefully. Today, the king is sleeping while workers continue their struggle," he said,.
Bhati also defended his Personal Security Officer (PSO), whose suspension followed the May 19 incident where Bhati attempted self-immolation while pouring petrol on himself at the Barmer Collectorate, alleging that authorities had made an innocent employee a scapegoat.
BJP leader and ex- district president Dileep Paliwal said the action against the PSO was a routine departmental measure. He said the government remains committed to addressing workers' concerns through established administrative channels....
