Gurugram, July 27 -- Two men were arrested on Friday for allegedly murdering a 57-year-old watchman after a late-night altercation in Farrukhnagar, police said on Sunday. The victim, Jaipal, a resident of Mohammadpur village, left home on the night of July 19 to report for duty but did not return the next morning, the complaint stated. His family a lodged a missing person case at Farrukhnagar police station on July 20. Police discovered an unidentified body along the Farrukhnagar-Wazirpur Road the same morning and later identified it as Jaipal. The autopsy found head and neck injuries, prompting police to add BNS section 103(1) (murder) to the case. Police alleged the prime accused, a driver, assaulted Jaipal after reversing a vehicle into him, sparking an argument, and later strangled him with a cotton towel.
